What does your position do?:  I direct the two (2) youth representatives, the Reflection Chair and Programs & Resource Chair.  I serve as the convention workshop chairman, setting the workshop schedule, securing presenters and supervision the convention workshop program. I also educate and promote all National PTA Programs..

Unit/Council, Region & Years Involved:  Twillman Elementary, Hazelwood Council, Gateway Region, 18 years

Why are you involved in PTA?:  I joined PTA when my daughter entered kindergarten.  I stayed involved in PTA because I believe in the mission and purpose of PTA.

What are you learning this year?:  I would like to learn better time management.

What are your goals?:  My goal this year is take several steps back at the local PTA Council Level, to let others step into leadership positions so I can focus more on Missouri PTA

Something interesting you’ve done this year:  My daughter graduated college in May.  Before she started her first big-girl, full time job, we took a two week road trip to spend time with family on the east coast.  Lots of sharing, laughing and even some crying.  The best 3500 miles we every spent together
