MoPTA Board of Managers Position:  Regional Director Three Trails

Years Involved in Board of Manager:  this is my first year

What does your position do?:  Help units & councils grow,  prevent “fires”, conduct schools of information & leadership training,  submit reports, make sure units, councils follow by laws, stay connected to units & councils to assist in any problems

Unit/Council, Region & Years Involved:  Sunny Pointe Elementary 3 years involved, 1 on board, Three Trails Region

Why are you involved in PTA?:  Because I see the bigger picture of what PTA could be. To advocate for all children,  but especially for those who have no one to speak for them, to support our teachers, our schools and to bridge the gap between community & students.


Food/Drink:  Scooter’s coffee, Dr. Pepper, seafood

Season:  Fall

Entertainment (Book, Movie, TV, Band, Music):  Books, music, movies

Activities/Hobbies:  Singing, baking/cooking, gardening, reading, entertaining, the outdoors, spending time with my tribe

What makes you stand out?:  I see the bigger picture. I believe in it with my whole heart,  I will never stop.

What are you learning this year:  lots! How to be a better speaker

What is a goal you have this year?:  To bridge the gap between students & community

What is a proud accomplishment?:  I became a nationally certified phlebotomist with a 4.0

Something interesting you’ve done this year:  I helped my son start his dream of educating people about the importance of sharks to our oceans & ecosystem.
